Their function provides insights into key financial metrics such as revenue per scan, cost structures, and profitability of different service lines. Accurate analysis supports decision-making around budgeting, capital investment (like new imaging equipment), and resource allocation to improve efficiency and practice growth.

Accounts Receivable

The accounts receivable team are tasked with monitoring, recording, and collecting payments owed to the practice by patients, insurers, and referring specialists. This includes issuing invoices, reconciling payments, following up overdue accounts, and maintaining accurate records. Effective accounts receivable practices are essential to maximise the group’s revenue, reduce bad debts, and support the overall financial stability of the practice.

Accounts Payable

The accounts payable team manages the timely processing and payment of supplier and vendor invoices. This includes entering purchase orders, verifying goods and services received, and ensuring payments are made within set terms to maintain positive supplier relationships. Accurate recording and scheduling of payments is critical for managing cash flow, meeting compliance requirements, and avoiding late fees or service interruptions.

Payroll

Payroll clerks oversee the accurate and compliant processing of staff salaries, wages, and entitlements, including superannuation, leave accruals, and tax withholdings. The function ensures that all employees—radiologists, technicians, administrative staff, and others—are paid correctly and on time according to their employment contracts and Australian workplace laws. Payroll also manages payroll reporting, addresses staff queries, and stays updated with any legislative changes that impact employee remuneration.

IT

Infrastructure & Network Engineer

The Infrastructure and Network Engineers are tasked with maintaining the physical and cloud-based IT infrastructure supporting business and clinical operations. Key responsibilities include designing secure networks, managing server environments, ensuring reliable connectivity across multiple sites, and implementing disaster recovery solutions. This role is critical for troubleshooting system failures, performing regular system upgrades, and ensuring high availability for essential imaging systems and telemedicine services. Their efforts ensure all clinics remain securely connected and operational at all times.

Systems Administrator (PACS/RIS Specialist)

Our specialists in clinical systems oversee the deployment, configuration, and support of core medical imaging platforms—especially PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System). They facilitate seamless integration with various radiology modalities, manage user accounts, troubleshoot system errors, and coordinate system upgrades. By ensuring clinical systems are compliant, efficiently configured, and always available, these administrators directly support accurate diagnostics and timely reporting for clinicians and radiologists.

Cybersecurity Specialist

Our Cybersecurity specialist develops and enforces security protocols to protect sensitive patient data held within radiology and business systems. Responsibilities include monitoring networks for threats, managing endpoint security, overseeing encryption policies, and ensuring compliance with the Australian Privacy Act and healthcare data standards. This role regularly conducts staff training on security best practices and leads incident response in the event of a breach, helping to maintain patient trust and legal compliance.

Facilities

Senior Facilities 

Our senior facility staff oversee site selection and development, supervising complex construction and refurbishment projects, and ensuring that all clinics comply with relevant health, radiation safety, and building regulations.  They manage budgets, negotiates and monitors service contracts, and collaborates with clinical, IT, and administrative leaders to ensure assets, safety, and workflows support business priorities. They drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimising maintenance programmes, and ensure service providers meet quality standards.

Facilities Support

Our facilities support coordinator supports the day-to-day operations across clinic sites by addressing maintenance requests, coordinating repairs, and helping to track assets and facilities documentation. This role acts as a key point of contact for staff for reporting and escalating facility issues, ensuring that all service requests are logged and followed up promptly. Other core tasks include assisting with compliance documentation, processing purchase orders and invoices, liaising with vendors for routine maintenance, and supporting audits or site inspections.

Human Resources Officers

Our HR Officers provide day-to-day HR support to clinic managers and staff across all locations, assisting with the administrative aspects of recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and maintaining employee records. Responding to staff queries about leave, benefits, and policies, and processes documentation for new hires, terminations, and changes of employment status. Scheduling and tracking mandatory training, coordinating performance review paperwork, and supporting workplace health and safety initiatives, often acting as a reliable first contact for HR-related concerns within the clinics. Ensuring consistent application of HR processes, helping to maintain compliance, and contributing to a positive employee experience throughout the radiology group.

Talent Acquisition 

Our talent acquisition specialists focus on attracting, engaging, and securing highly skilled clinical and medical professionals—including domestic and international radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, and nuclear medicine technology. Deploying multi-channel sourcing strategies including building ongoing relationships with universities and professional associations. Prioritising both active and passive candidate engagement, customising communication, and nurturing campaigns to maintain a robust pipeline.
