The National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) is a new Australian Government initiative aimed at improving early detection of lung cancer and saving lives. Screening for eligible participants will begin in July 2025.
To participate in the NLCSP, you must meet the following criteria:
Your healthcare provider will help determine your eligibility based on your age, smoking history, and other clinical factors. If suitable, they will provide a referral for a Low-Dose CT (LDCT) scan of the lungs.
Accessing the NLCSP through Quantum Radiology is easy:
A Low-Dose CT (LDCT) Lung Scan is a quick, painless, and non-invasive test that provides detailed images of your lungs to help detect early signs of cancer.
Early detection saves lives. If you’re eligible, talk to your GP about participating in the National Lung Cancer Screening Program and book your scan with Quantum Radiology.
